PRIVACY POLICY

INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Kwerty does not require accounts, emails, or sign-ups. Your game history, settings, and preferences are saved in your browser's localStorage on your device. Two things ARE sent to our servers: (1) when you finish a game, your score is submitted to our public leaderboard — this includes your auto-generated gamer tag (e.g. NeonViper#1234), WPM, accuracy, score, and game mode; (2) if you opt in to daily-challenge reminders, your browser's push-notification subscription is stored so we can send the reminder. Neither includes your name, email, or any account identity.
THE PUBLIC LEADERBOARD
Leaderboard scores are stored in a hosted database (Supabase) and are publicly visible on the leaderboard page under your gamer tag. Gamer tags are randomly generated and not linked to your real identity. You can rename your tag at any time from the leaderboard. If you want your scores removed, email us and we'll delete them.
ANALYTICS
We use Google Analytics (page views, session duration, traffic sources), Microsoft Clarity (anonymized session recordings of clicks and scrolls, used to find usability problems), and Vercel Analytics (aggregate page performance). These tools collect usage data in accordance with their own privacy policies. We do not use them to identify individual people.
COOKIES
Cookies and similar technologies are set by Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and — where ads are served — Google AdSense. Affiliate links (see below) may also set cookies so the merchant can attribute a purchase. You can opt out of personalised ads via Google's Ad Settings (adssettings.google.com) and control cookies in your browser settings.
ADVERTISING
Kwerty uses Google AdSense to display ads on content pages. Google may use cookies and data about your visits to this and other sites to show you personalised ads. To learn more or opt out, visit Google's Ad Settings at adssettings.google.com.
AFFILIATE LINKS
Some pages contain affiliate links to Amazon (as an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases), AliExpress, and other merchants via the Skimlinks network, which may automatically convert outbound merchant links into affiliate links. If you buy something through these links, Kwerty earns a commission at no extra cost to you. The merchant may set cookies to attribute the sale; we never see your payment or personal details.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Services we rely on: Supabase (leaderboard database), Vercel (hosting and analytics), Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Google AdSense, Amazon Associates, AliExpress Affiliate, and Skimlinks. Each collects data in accordance with its own privacy policy. We do not sell your personal data to any third party.
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Kwerty does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The game requires no account and leaderboard tags are randomly generated, so no real names or contact details are requested from anyone.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
